Original 1933 Oregon License Plates

Condition as shown. DMV clear.

Registerable on a 1933 vehicle via Special Interest registration in the state of Oregon or a great addition to any collection. In 1930, Oregon tried switching the registration period from calendar to fiscal year, skipping the issue of 1930 plates altogether. By 1933, they decided to switch back to calendar year and issued two plates to correct this. The black plate, which expires in June, was issued halfway through 1932 and was valid from June 1932 to June 1933. The yellow plate was then issued in July and was valid until December. Either plate can be used on a 1933 vehicle now.
